This month The Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health announced that a new independent self-regulatory body for complementary therapists called the Natural Healthcare Council is to launch in April 2008.

The aim of this new voluntary professional regulator is to provide enhanced consumer confidence and safety through a credible, robust and professional voluntary regulatory structure for the practice of complementary healthcare in the UK.

The Baby Gurus will watch the development of the Natural Healthcare Trust with interest especially as alternative therapies are so important for holistic care of pregnant women, new mums and babies.
