Bathing twins is a bit of an art so here is how to make it all a little easier.

Get everything ready first -You need two of everything - two towels, two baby robes, two baby gros. During the first few months bring two bouncy chairs beside the bathing area. One changing mat and all the bits n bobs that go along with that. So now you can bath one little baby as the other baby is safe, in view and content being entertained by mom, their sibling and of course the splashing!

Firstly happy birthday to my sons, Rocco and Jay who have reached an important milestone - their first birthday.

Having been away for two weeks in Portugal and due to stay a third, we popped home for a big gathering of family and friends and threw Rocco and Jay a big party. We had a wonderful cake which resembled The Night Garden, their favourite programme of the moment, an amazing magician and a clever balloon man for all the little people that came along with their parents. All was a success and the chocolate fountain proved popular with the young and old.

And then as I and my little family do – we headed off back on our travels to Portugal -Never have myself and hubby regretted a trip more.

Getting started on solids has been a special time for us at the Byrne household. We are now well down the line but this is how it all started.

Three mealtimes a day and not forgetting their milk feeds – we aim for breakfastime, lunchtime and dinnertime – all of which have fallen  nicely in to place ….even their little cup of water is going down a treat. I’m well proud of me and my boys.....all’s going well and we are getting messier by the minute. My lil munchins have already had a great variety of fresh fruit, vegtables and this week  a new addition chicken!!
