Pregnancy and becoming a parent is one of the major life changing experiences which women face.  Combine this with working and maintaining a career and it can be a challenging period for both the employee and the employer. The Baby Gurus services aim to support and educate expectant parents and their employers to make the transition to parenthood as smooth as possible. The Baby Gurus run management training, fertility, parenting seminars and Corporate Bumps. 

Corporate Bumps

Corporate Bumps consists of two half day workshops that women attend during their pregnancy and before returning to work.

Session one - working and pregnant

This half day session can be attended from pregnancy disclosure up until maternity leave.  Following this session, pregnant women will be more aware of what to expect during their pregnancy and be more equipped to manage their physical health and mental well being. Employers are reassured that the needs of thier employee are addressed at this special but sometimes challenging time in their working lives.

Session two - returning to work 

Again, in the format of a half day workshop, this session focuses on the return to work phase and covers issues from coping with separation from baby, balancing family and work life to recognising stress factors and how to effectively manage them. Following a smooth transition back into the workplace, employers can be confident that their employee will return and make a positive contribution to the business.

Corporate Bumps runs regularly in Aberdeen with the programme rolling out across the UK in 2011. Corporate Bumps can also be run internally within companies. In addition to this programme we also offer additional support packages for key employees.
