The must-do course for new parents: Learn accident prevention and life saving techniques
First Aid 4 Babies is a unique course designed and run by us. We have used our years of experience with parents and as professionals to bring you FA4B. The course covers the basics you need as a new parent and will give you the skills to firstly prevent accidents and secondly know what to do if your child needs first aid.
Did you know that one million children are admitted to hospital each year due to preventable accidents?
- Have you taken steps to prevent accidents in your home?
- Do you worry about when to perform first aid?
- Would you instantly know how to perform first aid?
If you answer yes to these three simple questions then it is worth investing 2 hours of your time doing FA4B.
What makes FA4B different?
As qualified teachers (as well as being midwives, doulas and antenatal teachers) we are able to create a course which is highly interesting, practical and highly effective. We have designed this course so that it contains all the essential information in a relatively short period of time. Be assured that our teaching methods are effective and our service is of a very high standard.
What is included in a FA4B course?
We give a talk on accident prevention and give you time to consider your own circumstances and how actively you prevent accidents. We give you ideas and discuss what makes a difference to your family. You will be given an action plan activity which you can take away allowing you to implement changes into your home.
We then focus on choking and our “babies” will allow you to practice newly acquired skills. We will be on hand to help you gain confidence. You will have time to practice until you are highly effective.
